The sad and tragic side of the crime is that the only evidence in the murder is another young girl. She is the only eye witness in the case but she too is in the danger of being kidnapped and killed by the killer. Also the girl seems to be reluctant in appearing as the only eye witness in the court. The attorney Mr. David Brunelle is to prove the killer as the real and the only murder but also to convince the young girl to appear before the court of law and recognize the killer as the murderer of the young girl.

The task is not easy but the most difficult and challenging case for Mr. David Brunelle. He is at loss and in confusion how to react and resolve the case for the entire satisfaction of the justice as well as the deprived family. It is admitted fact that when a person is determined to achieve something, he is to make right decisions, suitable plans and quick actions to meet the challenges. In the present case, David Brunelle does the same thing and comes out successful but how he does it, is to be revealed when you would go through the novel to the end of the novel and line. Presumption of Innocence is the perfect case of thrill and action.

The novel continues and the twists and turns go on encircling the readers what would the best plan for the prosecution department to bring to light the heinous crimes of the killer who have made the lives of the common people very miserable and fear ridden.
