Devoted in Death by J. D. Robb: it is not easy job but the most difficult and uphill task. The novel deals with the crimes and the criminals that are there to disrupt the peace and calm of the society. The suspense and thrill is kept till the last line of the novel and the readers would never lose their interest and concentration until the last line is reached and the climax is resolved. Devoted in Death by J. D. Robb is the journey of killing and searching.

Lieutenant hunts a pair of Bonnie and Clyde copycats whose intense desire for each other is fueled by chilling violence in this criminal thriller from the #1 New York Times bestselling series. Devoted in Death is a fast-paced thriller that begins with a bang and never lets up as two love-struck killers journey from Oklahoma to New York, leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. One of the nice things about being a fan of J.D. Robb’s In Death series from the beginning (nearly) is that the stories vary so much across the series while yet remaining faithful to the characters.

Devoted in Death by J. D. Robb

Devoted in Death by J. D. Robb is deeply emotional and story-changing (New York to Dallas); others are almost a straight-up police procedural (Survivor in Death); and others are a bit lighter and fun, at least as fun as murder and mayhem can be Fantasy in Death. Robb spends more time in our killers’ heads than most of the In Death books, and to great effect. Ella-Loo and Darryl are on a killing spree, and it’s up to Eve Dallas to connect the dots. And if Ella-Loo didn’t love New York so much, she might have gotten away with her crimes. But she landed in Eve’s city and killed one of the people Eve is sworn to protect and serve. Dorian Kuper, a cellist for the Metropolitan Opera, was tortured and murdered before being abandoned in an alley.

Eve Dallas, a top murder detective, and her trusted partner Delia Peabody respond. They examine the evidence at the crime scene and play off one another, attempting to determine motive and method, as well as the whys and hows of the crime. Devoted in Death by J. D. Robb is the same story. Eve has a feeling the perpetrator is playing from the start, based on how he tormented his victim.

Indigo Slam by Robert Crais is worth reading book.

She and Peabody, on the other hand, have their job cut out for them. Murders of strangers with no apparent motive are the most difficult to investigate. Roarke is always on Eve’s side. Roarke knows what Eve needs and when she needs it, despite the fact that she is battling crime while he is buying and selling the known universe.

He’s no pushover, and their relationship’s quarrels are legendary, but he’s Eve’s rock. They can overcome any obstacle if they work together. When Ella-Loo and Darryl take another victim to “play” with, Eve and the gang’s search for the killers becomes more urgent. Eve expects her crew to work hard, but she never does-after all, her husband Roarke feeds them, so they can put in the extra effort.

Sunset Express Robert Crais is also interesting story.

Eve surreptitiously sends the discussion to the other detective on the case, Captain Ryan Feeney, as he reveals that the senator (who has now committed suicide) killed Sharon in a fit of rage and then permitted Rock-man to commit the other murders to lead investigators astray. Eve distracts Rock-man with a cat she stole from one of the victims, allowing Eve to fight back long enough for Roarke and the cops to arrive.

She is safe, and the murderer has been apprehended.
