Robb: It is not easy job but the most difficult and uphill task.The novel deals with the crimes and the criminals that are there to disrupt the peace and calm of the society.The suspense and thrill is kept till the last line of the novel and the readers would never lose their interest and concentration until the last line is reached and the climax is resolved. Brotherhood in Death by J. D. Robb is marvelous to read.

It’s a fast-paced, engrossing thriller that had this reviewer awake till the early hours of the morning. The plot is set in the mid-twentieth century and follows Lt. Eve Dallas, a police detective. Eve and her associates are called in when Edward Mira, a former senator, judge, and lawyer, goes missing. Dennis Mira, the fantastic character of the NYPD’s best profiler, goes to see his cousin Edward at their deceased grandfather’s grand Soho brownstone and finds him injured. The lights go out the next thing Dennis knows. Edward is nowhere to be found when he wakes up. Eve and her squad have arrived on the scene. Brotherhood in Death by J. D. Robb is very interesting novel.

Madison and Jefferson By Nancy Isenberg and Andrew Burstein is very informative book to read.

Is Edward in danger of being kidnapped?

Or is it even worse?Could this have been planned by someone with a grudge from his past? Eve mobilizes all of her resources, including Roarke, her rich husband. They quickly learn that Edward had a number of affairs with young ladies. The crew decides to speak with the most current of them in the hopes of learning more about his location.But it’s unclear who would jeopardize their career or reputation over this individual.

Then Edward is found dead, brutally murdered, and the case takes on a new dimension. When other men are killed in this manner, Eve and the NYPD delve deeper into the pasts of the men involved. Eve is a determined detective who will stop at nothing to find the truth. What she discovers will bring back memories of her own trials and tribulations.

Depravity comes in all sizes and shapes, as she knows, and spares no one, regardless of riches or position.

Her job is never simple, but she must keep her sense of fairness. Brotherhood in Death by J. D. Robb has done an excellent job of keeping the series interesting and fascinating. Injustice drives Eve to action, as it always does, and the long-running romance between Eve and her husband is still going strong.
